A Workover Rig Tool Pusher at Dynamic Well Service is responsible for supervising all rig-site activities related to workover, well servicing, and completion operations. This position ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of workover programs while maintaining compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Supervision
- Direct and oversee the daily workover rig operations, including pulling and running tubing, setting packers, fishing, and well cleanout operations.
- Ensure the correct implementation of workover programs and adherence to procedures.
- Coordinate logistics for materials, tools, and personnel to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor rig performance and optimize workover efficiency and time management.
Safety and Compliance
- Enforce all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and ensure all crew members follow safety protocols.
- Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments before each operation.
- Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory safety policies and reporting requirements.
- Report and investigate incidents or near misses.
Personnel Management
- Supervise and lead rig crews including driller, derrickman, floorhands, and mechanics.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to crew members.
- Manage shift rotations and ensure adequate crew coverage.
Equipment and Maintenance
- Oversee maintenance and inspection of rig equipment and tools to ensure operational readiness.
- Verify that all equipment certifications, inspections, and preventive maintenance are up to date.
- Coordinate with mechanics or maintenance teams for repairs and troubleshooting.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate daily reports on operations, equipment status, and personnel activities.
- Track costs, time logs, and material usage for operational efficiency.
- Submit end-of-well and incident reports as required.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in well servicing or workover rig operations, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or tool pusher role.
- Strong knowledge of downhole tools, well control, and workover procedures.
- Certified in Well Control (IWCF / IADC), H2S, and First Aid.
- High school diploma or technical certification; engineering or petroleum degree preferred.
