Workplace Interior Design Assistant, Internship

Overview

PDO is an award-winning interior architecture and design firm offering a Design Assistant opportunity in our Phoenix-metro office for an energetic, driven, and creative Interior Design student. This individual should have a strong interest in commercial interior design and familiarity with tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp through coursework or prior experience. In this role, you will collaborate with and support the interior design team, assisting with design development, material research, client meetings, and other project-related tasks while gaining hands-on experience in a professional studio environment.

• Getting to know reps. Etc. people we work with and their roles

• Maintain (clean) library andmaintaincurrent rep contact list as requested
• Attend PDO events
• Assist Staffas needed

• Assistwith creating digital finish and mood boards
• Call infinishsamples as requested by designers
• Research new products
• Help set up client finish meetings
• Help clean upclientfinish meetings
• Take notes during client meetings

• Take photos andassistwith on-site as-builts
• Pick-upminor redlines
• Edit key notes
• PDF pages

• Assistwith reviewing and stamping submittals
• Help preparea L.O.T and send submittals back
• Assiston punch walks
• Walkjob sites and take photos
