Workroom Operations Coordinator

Job Summary

Jean's Custom Workroom is seeking a highly organized Workroom Operations Coordinator to manage inventory, incoming deliveries, and installation preparation. This position serves as the organizational hub of our custom workroom and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping projects running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming fabric, hardware, and supplies
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Track customer materials and project components
  • Pull and organize all items needed for weekly installations
  • Coordinate workroom workflow and project staging
  • Maintain clean and organized storage areas
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Communicate with vendors and delivery personnel

Qualifications

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Comfortable handling large fabric bolts and hardware shipments
  • Some computer skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience with inventory management preferred
  • Experience in interiors, sewing, drapery, construction, or warehousing is a plus
  • Stable daytime schedule
  • Creative design industry environment

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
