Workshop Superintendent

Duties & Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality
• Lead the workshop team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment and machinery
• Plan and prioritize workloads, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inventory
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with project teams to support equipment readiness and mobilization

Qualifications and Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a mechanical/electrical workshop (construction or heavy equipment sector preferred)
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, diagnostics, and repairs
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Hands-on, proactive mindset with solid problem-solving abilities
• Proficient computer skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); familiarity with Hindi or Urdu is a plus
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred
• UAE experience preferred; knowledge of local safety and labor regulations is a plus
