Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care
Harlem Hospital Center, New York, NY
Temp Contract | 4 Shifts/Week (10 Hours Each) | Every Other Weekend

Position Summary
Harlem Hospital Center is seeking an experienced Wound Care RN to provide specialized assessment, treatment, and education for patients with wounds, ostomies, continence issues, and complex skin conditions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care and support quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform wound, ostomy, and continence assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Educate patients, families, and clinical staff on wound prevention and management.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership and multidisciplinary teams to implement best practices.
  • Support quality improvement, pressure injury prevention, and staff development programs.
  • Manage wound care-related equipment and resources.

Requirements

  • Active New York State RN License.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) or higher.
  • Minimum 2 years of Wound Care nursing experience.
  • Wound care and colostomy care experience required.
  • Current AHA BLS certification.
  • Current certification in one of the following: CWOCN, CWON, CWCN, CWS, or WCC.

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $74.01 - $84.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
