Wraparound & Intake Authorizations Coordinator

Job Title: Wraparound Intake & Authorizations Coordinator


Full-Time, 40 hours/week, flexible work schedule

Hybrid; primarily remote with 2 in-person events in Denver yearly


Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented individual to support our wraparound intake process and ongoing client services. This role is responsible for coordinating new client intakes, assisting with initial and ongoing authorizations, managing client documentation, and collaborating closely with the wraparound team to ensure high-quality, responsive services, particularly for clients in crisis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new referrals and client intakes
  • Complete intake assessments and gather required documentation
  • Assist with initial and ongoing service authorizations, including submission and follow-up
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant client records
  • Track authorization timelines and ensure continuity of services
  • Collaborate with wraparound facilitators, care coordinators, and clinical staff
  • Support crisis response coordination and service planning as needed
  • Communicate effectively with families, providers, and funding sources
  • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field preferred (experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families in crisis preferred
  • Knowledge of wraparound principles and care coordination models
  • Experience with insurance/Medicaid authorizations strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay Range:
Between $40,560 to $56,160, depending on years of formal Wraparound specific Case Management experience or Intake experience.
