Job Title: X-Ray Technician / Radiology Technician

Job Purpose
The Radiology Technician is responsible for conducting diagnostic X-ray examinations with precision and safety, perform high-quality imaging while ensuring strict radiation safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out X-ray procedures as directed by radiologists or physicians
- Prepare patients for X-ray examinations and explain procedures clearly
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images
- Operate X-ray machines and related radiology equipment efficiently
- Ensure radiation safety norms are strictly followed (ALARA principle)
- Maintain proper records of imaging procedures and reports
- Process, review, and archive X-ray images (digital / PACS systems)
- Ensure cleanliness, calibration, and routine maintenance of X-ray equipment
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
- Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses, and front desk staff
- Handle emergency imaging requirements when needed
- Ensure compliance with AERB and statutory regulations
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Requirement:
Diploma or Degree in Radiology Technology / X-Ray Technology
Certification:
Valid registration with the appropriate medical or paramedical authority (if applicable)
Experience:
1–3 years of relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic facility.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices
- Ability to manage patients with professionalism and empathy
- Basic computer proficiency, including PACS and hospital information systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Working Conditions
8- 9 hrs shift, in between 9 am to 10 pm

Compensation & Employment Details
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience)
