Yard Laborer for Pile Driving and Foundation Construction Equipment

GeoQuip's Hydraulic Power Systems (HPSI) is seeking a tech/helper for our yard in North Kansas City. HPSI is one of the top manufacturers of pile driving and foundation construction equipment. Mechanically inclined applicants are preferred. The ideal candidate is someone interested in working their way up in our company.

The tech will be asked to help load and unload equipment from trucks, move items in equipment yard, assist our chief mechanic with tasks at hand, clean equipment and many other critical tasks.

Applicants must be able to work outdoors, lift up to 100 lbs. and follow instructions. The tech will focus on assisting in all aspects of pile driving equipment maintenance as well as receiving and logging in equipment, among other duties.

The ideal candidate will be able to pay close attention, learn about the equipment, watch and learn from expert mechanics and grow in abilities to work with decreasing amounts of supervision. We are seeking someone reliable and willing to help others. We are seeking someone who can ignore their personal cell phone and focus on the work that is going on at our shop!

A valid, UNRESTRICTED driver's license is required. A CDL is unnecessary.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. One hour lunch break.
