Job Description:
- Interacts and communicates with contractors, visitors, customers, public safety officials, emergency personnel, employees, and the public.
- Guards and monitors the premises to prevent theft, property destruction, violence, and safety violations.
- Responds to alarms and emergency situations.
- Patrols (walks and uses technology) the facility to check for irregularities and to inspect
- Uses scales to weigh trucks and bulk tank wagons for entry in and out of the plant facility.
- Controls truck schedules to permit entry to the facility during scheduled pick up time.
- Prints daily truck schedules for the warehouse.
- Prints daily bulk reservations and makes readily available when trucks arrive at the facility.
- Records activity of all trucks and vehicles entering and exiting the facility in the security gate log.
- Inputs all bulk trucks entry and exits in Truck Reservation Schedule and logs all bulk trucks in receiving or shipping logs using software.
- Prepares cargo Bill of Lading (BOL) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) / Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for outgoing bulk loads.
- Maintains files and access to current SDS/MSDS as required by regulatory agencies for the plant.
- Uses office equipment to makes copies or places order requests of security office forms.
- Accepts schedules and direction changes driven by workloads.
- Attends and participates in mandatory safety stand-down meetings and ongoing training.
- Performs other job -related duties that may be assigned as needed.
Will be training on 1st shift but will to be flexible on working rotating shifts.
