About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Yii Framework 1.x Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate must have solid experience maintaining, upgrading, and building applications using Yii 1.x, along with strong PHP fundamentals and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time role, hybrid/remote depending on candidate profile, but priority will be given to candidates who can be available on-site when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications built on Yii Framework 1.x.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade legacy systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, design).
• Write clean, secure, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and backend systems.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
• Follow project timelines and ensure efficient task delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience working with Yii Framework 1.x (mandatory).
• Strong PHP experience (OOP, MVC architecture).
• Hands-on experience with MySQL databases.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML/CSS.
• Experience working with APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with Git/version control.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Yii2 (a plus, not required).
• Understanding of Linux environments.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Knowledge of basic DevOps workflow.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid / Remote depending on candidate profile.
• Flexible working hours can be provided, but candidates must be capable of meeting deadlines, attending meetings, and collaborating smoothly with the team.
