The Yoga and Meditation Instructor at Miraval The Red Sea leads movement-based experiences that integrate mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and holistic fitness practices to support guests' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
The instructor will create a safe, inspiring, and engaging environment that promotes inner balance and self-discovery while adhering to Saudi Arabia's hospitality and wellness industry standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Wellness team to create integrated programs that enhance the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Program Delivery & Guest Experience: Lead group and private sessions in yoga, meditation, tai chi, breathwork, Qi Gong, sound healing, Pilates, and other mindful movement modalities, tailoring the experience to guest needs. Guide guests through personalized movement-based programs focusing on strength, flexibility, mindfulness, and inner balance. Deliver educational workshops on posture, movement awareness, stress reduction, and energy balancing techniques. Ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally respectful environment for all guests, addressing diverse backgrounds, physical abilities, and wellness goals. Align sessions with Miraval's mindfulness-based approach to well-being, incorporating elements of self-discovery, emotional health, and transformation.
- Operational Excellence & Compliance: Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and guest service. Oversee the use, maintenance, and cleanliness of movement spaces and equipment, report issues to the relevant department, and ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia's health, wellness, culture, and hospitality regulations. Collaborate with the Wellness team to integrate movement practices into broader well-being programs.
- Professional Development & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest research, trends, and best practices in mindful movement, fitness, and holistic wellness. Continuously refine teaching techniques and program offerings to meet evolving guest needs, ensuring high-quality experiences and contribution to revenue. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional collaborations to align with Miraval's values and standards.
- Guest Engagement & Marketing: Contribute to marketing initiatives by providing content such as articles, blog posts, and promotional materials to highlight movement-based offerings. Foster strong guest relationships through personalized, memorable experiences and maintain high guest satisfaction and positive reviews across social media and feedback platforms.
Qualifications
- Certified instructor in Yoga (RYT-200/500), Pilates, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, or other relevant mindful movement disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching at a luxury wellness resort, retreat center, or holistic health setting.
- Strong understanding of movement mechanics, breathwork, mindfulness, and mind-body integration.
- Experience working with diverse guest needs, including beginners, advanced practitioners, and those with physical limitations or specific wellness goals.
- Proficiency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to create a calming, nurturing, and inspiring class environment that promotes relaxation, focus, and personal transformation.
