Job Title: Music Teacher (Vocal & Instrumental)

Location: Sanskriti International School, Kondapur Branch

Reports to: Cultural Coordinator / Principal

Job Purpose

To cultivate a deep appreciation for music in students from Grades I to VIII. The Music Teacher will develop students' vocal abilities, rhythmic sense, and instrumental skills, ensuring that music is a core part of the school's vibrant culture and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Design a progressive music syllabus that includes music theory, vocal exercises, and introductory instrumental training (Keyboard, Guitar, or Percussion).
• Vocal Instruction: Conduct choral singing sessions, teaching students a variety of songs including school hymns, patriotic songs, folk music, and contemporary English/Hindi tracks.
• Instrumental Training: Provide basic to intermediate instruction on instruments, helping students understand scales, chords, and rhythm.
• Event Orchestration: Lead the school choir and band for assemblies, Annual Days, Founders' Day, and inter-school competitions.
• Cultural Fusion: Blend Western music concepts (like notation and harmony) with Indian Classical foundations (Ragas and Taals).
• Digital Music: Introduce students to basic digital music tools or recording software where applicable for older grades.
• Inventory Management: Maintain the school’s musical instruments and equipment in excellent condition.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
