Youth Assessment clinician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Assessment Clinician to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral services team. In this vital role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of youth, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and diagnostic tools to evaluate mental health, behavioral issues, and developmental needs. Your expertise will help inform personalized treatment plans, support case management efforts, and ensure that each young person receives the care they deserve. Responsibilities

• Perform detailed intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents presenting with diverse mental health and behavioral concerns.
• Collect and document accurate medical records, clinical notes, and assessment data in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and data integrity.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Communicate with parents and guardians for master treatment planning.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children or adolescents in home & community care settings or outpatient clinics is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in data collection, medical documentation, and working within HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy.
• Proven ability to conduct behavioral assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and master treatment plans.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and familiarity with medical records management systems.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations while demonstrating sensitivity to gender issues counseling needs.
