Join Our Team as a Youth Development Professional!

Do you enjoy working with kids and creating fun, meaningful experiences? Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis is seeking energetic Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) to help provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise Club members to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment at all times
• Lead structured, age-appropriate activities in academics, recreation, arts, social skills, and life skills development
• Support homework help, tutoring, and academic enrichment activities
• Build positive mentoring relationships and model respectful, responsible behavior
• Maintain daily attendance records and complete required incident and safety documentation
• Inspect program spaces and equipment to ensure safety and proper use
• Support volunteers and assist with group management during programs and events

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting
• Passion for youth development and creating positive learning environments
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a DCS background check and meet all employment requirements
