Youth Leader (PM Shift) - PrimeTime

Help shape a better world for our youth in San Diego. We are looking for a youth leader who exudes creativity and resilience to create an environment for youth that inspires, motivates, and engages youth. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a drive to help them realize their fullest potential. Harmonium operates programs throughout San Diego, all staff are considered multi-site workers and may be asked to sub or move to another site based on the needs of the program. We are currently looking for part-time (PM shift) candidates to join schools throughout San Diego, CA.

JOB COMPLEXITY.

• Supervise day-to-day activities of youth in the program

• Lead enriching activities such as interactive games and arts & crafts

• Uncover new and engaging ways to assist youth with homework

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES.

• Must be 18 years of age

• Must have 6 months experience (paid or unpaid) in any of the following settings: an after-school program, group childcare setting, or babysitting elementary aged children

• Must have 48 completed college units OR pass the District's Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam (a basic math and literacy test)

• Must have a valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification upon hire

• Ability to travel throughout the county with the flexibility required to meet job duties

COMPENSATION.

• Starting Rate: $22.00
