Job Overview

Looking for a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Script Writer to join an in-house content team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing engaging, well-researched, and audience-focused scripts for YouTube videos across different formats. This role requires strong storytelling skills, an understanding of YouTube content dynamics, and the ability to collaborate closely with editors and content strategists.

Key Responsibilities

• Write compelling and structured scripts for YouTube videos aligned with the channels niche and target audience
• Conduct research to ensure accuracy, relevance, and value-driven content
• Develop strong hooks, engaging narratives, and clear calls-to-action
• Adapt tone and writing style based on video format (educational, storytelling, explainer, short-form, long-form, etc.)
• Collaborate with video editors, voice-over artists, and content managers to ensure smooth execution
• Revise scripts based on feedback and performance insights
• Stay updated with YouTube trends, audience preferences, and platform best practices
  
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a script writer, content writer, or YouTube writer
• Strong command of English with excellent writing and storytelling skills
• Ability to simplify complex ideas into engaging and easy-to-understand scripts
• Understanding of YouTube audience retention, hooks, pacing, and structure
• Strong research and fact-checking abilities
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple scripts simultaneously

• Prior experience writing scripts for monetized or high-performing YouTube channels
• Familiarity with different YouTube niches (educational, entertainment, faceless channels, shorts, etc.)
