YouTube Video Editor

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced YouTube Video Editor to join our team on-site. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience editing engaging, high-retention YouTube content and understand platform trends, pacing, and storytelling techniques.

If you are creative, detail-oriented, and can turn raw footage into compelling videos that drive views and engagement, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit YouTube videos (long-form & shorts) with high audience retention in mind
• Add motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, background music, and transitions
• Create engaging hooks within the first 5–10 seconds
• Color correct and enhance audio quality
• Design basic thumbnails (preferred but not mandatory)
• Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent editing style
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in YouTube video editing
• Strong portfolio showcasing YouTube projects (must provide links)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects (Final Cut Pro is a plus)
• Strong understanding of YouTube algorithm, retention strategies, and trends
• Experience with motion graphics and basic animation
• Knowledge of sound design and color grading
• Ability to work on-site (this is not a remote position)

Preferred Skills

• Experience editing viral or monetized YouTube channels
• Basic thumbnail design skills (Photoshop/Canva)
• Understanding of analytics and performance optimization
