Slant 3D is a large-scale 3D printing company that helps businesses and creators bring custom products to life through our Print On-Demand services (think Printify or RedBubble but for 3D printing).

Our primary marketing vehicle is our various YouTube channels (https://www.youtube.com/@slant3d)

With around 200,000 subscribers we are one of the largest youtube channels in Idaho. This channel is our main form of outreach and education for our users and people that just like 3D Printing

About the Role

We are growing our Youtube Team Again. We’re looking for an additional YouTube Video Editor to join our team.

This is not a pure filmmaking or creative editing role. We need someone who understands that every video is a strategic tool — designed to generate leads, educate users, and grow our audience through intentional and effective content.

You'll be responsible for helping plan, film, edit, and optimize video content for our YouTube channels and supporting platforms (social media, blogs, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, film, edit, and publish YouTube videos aligned with marketing goals.
• Edit long-form YouTube videos, as well as short-form clips (Reels/TikToks).
• Create and execute YouTube SEO strategies (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, etc.)
• Analyze video performance metrics (watch time, CTR, engagement) to refine future content.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align content with campaign goals
• Optionally (but a huge plus): Host on-camera videos to deliver educational content with energy and clarity.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of marketing-driven content creation
• Experience creating and editing video content (YouTube-specific portfolio not required)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite
• Self-starter attitude with a focus on results and audience growth.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
• Comfortable taking creative feedback and iterating quickly.

• Portfolio does not need to be YouTube specific (can include marketing videos, promotional edits, tutorial videos, or other relevant content)

Why you Should Not Take This Job

We work very quickly. We are constantly accelerating what we can do. This does not mean grinding out for 18 hours. It means building systems to be more effective. Creating new content types and tools that allow us to go faster without more effort. If you cannot iterate and continually improve you will really dislike this job.

If you do not know what is "interesting" this will not be your place. The editor needs to have an opinion about what is interesting. Stories that are worth telling.

We can teach you about 3D Printing but you should have an interest in it.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
