Prime Lead Studio is hiring a YouTube Natural Disaster Video Producer to research, script, edit, and publish high-quality compilation videos showcasing dramatic natural phenomena such as hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, lightning storms, and more. If you’re a detail-oriented video editor with strong research skills, creative storytelling instincts, and a fascination with nature, this is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing remote startup building channels with 30M+ views in just 6 months.

What You’ll Do

• Research and source high-impact natural disaster footage

Locate dramatic, newsworthy clips of storms, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, lightning strikes, and other natural events from news archives, media libraries, and user-generated content platforms.

• Edit engaging long-form compilation videos

Create 10–15 minute cohesive compilations that flow narratively, showcasing multiple disaster events with proper pacing, structure, and context.

• Write and integrate educational commentary

Develop scripts that explain the event’s background—location, date, intensity, notable facts—and integrate the commentary via voiceover or text overlays.

• Own the full production workflow

Select footage, edit visuals, add audio and sound design, insert commentary, create thumbnails, and prepare polished final outputs.

• Upload and optimize on YouTube

Publish content using SEO-optimized titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, and thumbnails to maximize reach, discoverability, watch time, and engagement.

• Hit consistent production targets

Deliver 6 high-quality natural disaster compilation videos per month, each approximately 30 minutes long.

Who You Are — Required Skills & Characteristics

Essential Technical Skills

• Intermediate to advanced video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
• Strong research capability — skilled in sourcing, vetting, and organizing video footage from multiple online sources
• Audio editing & mixing — voiceovers, music, ambience, and SFX
• Ability to create eye-catching thumbnails (Photoshop, Canva, or similar)
• Working knowledge of YouTube SEO, metadata best practices, and YouTube content guidelines
