Job Requirements

• Senior Engineer with at least 3+ Zendesk implementation experiences
• 8+ years of experience
• Good spoken and written communication skills – will have to work independently (not through a BA or PM) with US based engineering and client business teams
• Some knowledge and familiarity with Salesforce Service cloud is required.
• Any location in India is okay, but overlap with US West Coast (Pacific time zone) of at least 2-3 hours required
• Certifications: Preferred Zendesk Support Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Data Migration & Mapping: Analyze legacy Salesforce data (cases, accounts, products, knowledge base articles, triggers) and map them to corresponding Zendesk objects (tickets, users,macros).
• Data migration: Design, develop, and execute data migration scripts, utilizing tools or custom code to map from Salesforce Service cloud to Zendesk.
• API & Scripting Execution: Utilize the Zendesk Support API or specialized tools (e.g., Help Desk Migration) to execute high-volume data transfers.
• Workflow Transformation: Build Zendesk triggers, automations, and macros based on specs or reverse engineering Salesforce Flows and process builders.
• Data Validation & Testing: Perform unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and functional integrity.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including data mapping, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.
