Job Title: Zone Head - Talent Acquisition


Location: Mumbai


Job Description:


POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Zone Talent Acquisition Head, you will be responsible for driving fulfilment of manpower requirements for zone, ensuring process consistency, managing TA team members, and collaborating with the TA COE on strategy, forecasting, and innovation. You will play a critical role in shaping our talent acquisition strategy, collaborating with senior leadership, and driving initiatives to attract and retain high-caliber candidates.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment Planning & Forecasting

  • Partner with regional business leaders to understand manpower needs and hiring priorities
  • Build the zone hiring plan aligned to national workforce planning & budgets
  • Ensure visibility of all open roles for the zone

Team Leadership & Delivery Management

  • Manage and guide TA team members across the zone.
  • Allocate requisitions, review sourcing progress, and ensure closure within TAT
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and build recruiter capability.

Sourcing Strategy & Execution

  • Oversee sourcing efforts, ensuring the recommended source mix (portals, referrals, social, vendor).
  • Guide the team on difficult/critical role hiring and market intelligence.
  • Elevate sourcing quality through new channels.

Hiring Process Governance

  • Ensure standardized recruitment processes, evaluation formats, and documentation across the zone.
  • Monitor candidate experience and remove bottlenecks.
  • Oversee offer negotiation, rollouts, and pre-onboarding.

Data, Reporting & Review

  • Maintain zone-level dashboards, funnel metrics, hiring trackers and TAT reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data on EmPower.
  • Analyze hiring trends, risks, and fulfillment status for business reviews

Collaboration with COE

  • Work with TA COE on alternate hiring models, automation initiatives, and campus programs.
  • Implement new processes, systems, and best practices across the zone.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or a related HR role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
