Job Summary

The Nurse Assistant supports registered nurses and doctors by providing basic patient care, maintaining clinical areas, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is essential for delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and doctors with routine patient care tasks.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, oxygen levels).
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and treatment areas.
• Assist with patient mobility, positioning, and basic comfort care.
• Sterilize and prepare medical instruments and equipment.
• Manage patient files, documentation, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Support in calling patients, managing appointments, and guiding them inside the clinic.
• Follow infection control, safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Provide compassionate communication and ensure patient comfort.
• Report any unusual patient conditions to supervising nurse/doctor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Nursing Assistant or related field.
• Previous experience in a clinic or medical centre is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care procedures and medical terminology.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
