Senior Chemistry Teacher (AKU-EB)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Chemistry Teacher to teach Chemistry under the AKUEB curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, proven success in preparing students for AKUEB examinations, and a commitment to delivering high-quality instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons in line with AKUEB standards.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and examination-focused learning materials.
• Conduct laboratory practicals while ensuring safety compliance.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Prepare students for AKUEB examinations and support academic achievement.
• Participate in departmental planning, parent meetings, and school activities.
• Mentor junior teachers and contribute to curriculum improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Chemistry teaching experience within the AKUEB system.
• Strong knowledge of AKUEB curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in educational technology and laboratory management.

Preferred

• B.Ed., M.Ed., or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated record of strong student examination results.
