Job Summary

The Orchid School is seeking a qualified and passionate Biology & Chemistry Teacher for O Levels. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, concept-based science lessons that build students’ understanding, analytical skills, and exam readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Biology and Chemistry to O Level students following the curriculum
• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging science lessons
• Conduct practical experiments and ensure lab safety procedures
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations
• Develop students’ conceptual understanding and scientific thinking
• Maintain lesson plans, assessments, and academic records
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
• Create an interactive and disciplined classroom environment
• Collaborate with the science department for academic planning

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related Science field
• Prior teaching experience at O Level will be an advantage
• Strong subject command in both Biology and Chemistry
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts
• Passion for teaching and student development
