Job Summary

The Orchid School is seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher specializing in Biology for O Level students. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, concept-based science lessons that enhance students’ understanding and exam performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Science with a focus on Biology to O Level students
• Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and curriculum-based lessons
• Develop students’ conceptual understanding and scientific thinking
• Conduct practical experiments and ensure lab safety
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations
• Maintain lesson plans, assessments, and academic records
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
• Create an interactive and disciplined classroom environment
• Collaborate with the science department for academic planning

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Biology, Science, or related field
• Prior teaching experience at O Level will be an advantage
• Strong command of Biology and general Science concepts
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to simplify complex scientific topics
• Passion for teaching and student development
