Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager to lead our team and oversee daily business functions across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a passion for retail or service operations, and the ability to motivate and develop staff.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and supervise daily store or branch operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.</li><li>Oversee inventory management, including stock control, purchasing, merchandising, and inventory reconciliation.</li><li>Manage staffing schedules, conduct employee orientation, training &amp; development sessions, and oversee recruiting efforts.</li><li>Handle customer service issues promptly, ensuring positive experiences and resolving escalated concerns effectively.</li><li>Coordinate sales activities, monitor retail math metrics such as sales targets and pricing strategies, and support sales management initiatives.</li><li>Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering operations, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting tasks.</li><li>Implement marketing strategies to promote products or services while maintaining POS (Point of Sale) system accuracy and efficiency.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven management experience in retail sales or store management with supervising responsibilities.</li><li>Strong skills in negotiation, team management, leadership, and communication.</li><li>Experience with employee orientation, interviewing candidates, recruiting processes, and training &amp; development programs.</li><li>Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.</li><li>Knowledge of retail operations including inventory control, merchandising, stocking, pricing, and POS systems.</li><li>Familiarity with payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, budgeting techniques, and cash handling procedures.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.</li><li>Demonstrated supervisory experience in a retail or grocery store environment with a focus on customer service excellence.
