Operations Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager to lead our team and oversee daily business functions across multiple departments. This role is vital in driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and ensuring exceptional customer service. As an energetic leader, you will coordinate various teams, manage resources efficiently, and implement innovative solutions to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a passion for retail or service operations, and the ability to motivate and develop staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily store or branch operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock control, purchasing, merchandising, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Manage staffing schedules, conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and oversee recruiting efforts.
  • Handle customer service issues promptly, ensuring positive experiences and resolving escalated concerns effectively.
  • Coordinate sales activities, monitor retail math metrics such as sales targets and pricing strategies, and support sales management initiatives.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering operations, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting tasks.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote products or services while maintaining POS (Point of Sale) system accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in retail sales or store management with supervising responsibilities.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, team management, leadership, and communication.
  • Experience with employee orientation, interviewing candidates, recruiting processes, and training & development programs.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
  • Knowledge of retail operations including inventory control, merchandising, stocking, pricing, and POS systems.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, budgeting techniques, and cash handling procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: $136,841.00 - $161,455.00 per year
