Metro City Builders is looking for a CAD Designer/Drafter to join our Development Services team in Covina, California (CA)!Responsibilities:<ul><li>The person in this position will use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Metro projects</li><li>Involvement in all phases of the design process including crafting and curation of design narratives, programming, schematic design, design development and construction documents and construction administration.</li><li>Designing and producing sets of plans; implementing and managing AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards</li><li>Assists in maintaining drawing database</li><li>Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)</li><li>The optimal candidate has 3+ years of architectural design and documentation experience, with 2+ years at a single place of employment.</li><li>Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products preferred</li><li>Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter</li><li>Ability to work independently and with a team</li></ul>Hourly Range$30/hr to $38/hrHow To Apply: Submit your application online, including a cover letter, resume, and a work sample.
