CAD Designer/Drafter

Metro City Builders is looking for a CAD Designer/Drafter to join our Development Services team in Covina, California (CA)!

Responsibilities:

• The person in this position will use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Metro projects
• Involvement in all phases of the design process including crafting and curation of design narratives, programming, schematic design, design development and construction documents and construction administration.
• Designing and producing sets of plans; implementing and managing AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards
• Assists in maintaining drawing database
• Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
• The optimal candidate has 3+ years of architectural design and documentation experience, with 2+ years at a single place of employment.
• Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products preferred
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
• Ability to work independently and with a team

Hourly Range

$30/hr to $38/hr
