This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your friendly demeanor and organizational talents will shine, making every guest feel valued and appreciated.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression</li><li>Manage reservations efficiently using Open Table</li><li>Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized host stand, including managing waitlists and guest flow</li><li>Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and services</li><li>Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their experience</li><li>Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring positive interactions throughout their visit</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests</li><li>Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant POS systems such as Open Table and Toast POS</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism</li><li>Knowledge of hospitality standards, including serving etiquette and phone etiquette</li><li>A friendly demeanor combined with strong organizational skills to manage reservations and guest flow effectively</li></ul>Join us at The Palms where your enthusiasm fuels unforgettable guest experiences!
