We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote REO (Real Estate Owned) Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the management and disposition of bank-owned properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and facilitating smooth transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, negotiation abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of real estate law and fair housing regulations.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage the entire REO process from property acquisition through sale, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.</li><li>Coordinate property inspections, appraisals, and marketing efforts to maximize property value and expedite sales.</li><li>Negotiate with buyers, investors, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable terms while maintaining professional relationships.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other federal, state, and local laws governing real estate transactions.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, attorneys, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.</li><li>Oversee property management activities including maintenance coordination, occupancy status updates, and documentation.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and legal documentation related to each property.</li><li>Conduct market analysis to develop strategic marketing plans tailored for each property.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.</li><li>Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and managing documentation.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in real estate administration or property management within a remote setting.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal facilitation.</li><li>Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client bases effectively.</li><li>Familiarity with real estate law, fair housing regulations, and compliance standards.</li><li>Excellent communication skills&mdash;both written and verbal&mdash;to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously.</li><li>Prior experience in sales or marketing within the real estate sector is advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of property management software tools and general administrative experience.</li><li>Understanding of real estate legal processes and documentation requirements.
