Remote Real Estate Owned Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote REO (Real Estate Owned) Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the management and disposition of bank-owned properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and facilitating smooth transactions. Responsibilities

• Manage the entire REO process from property acquisition through sale, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
• Coordinate property inspections, appraisals, and marketing efforts to maximize property value and expedite sales.
• Negotiate with buyers, investors, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable terms while maintaining professional relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other federal, state, and local laws governing real estate transactions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, attorneys, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Oversee property management activities including maintenance coordination, occupancy status updates, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and legal documentation related to each property.
• Conduct market analysis to develop strategic marketing plans tailored for each property.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and managing documentation.

Experience

• Proven experience in real estate administration or property management within a remote setting.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal facilitation.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client bases effectively.
• Familiarity with real estate law, fair housing regulations, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously.
• Prior experience in sales or marketing within the real estate sector is advantageous.
• Knowledge of property management software tools and general administrative experience.
• Understanding of real estate legal processes and documentation requirements.
