 2KSC is strengthening its commercial operations team and is looking for a&nbsp;
 
 
 Vessel Operator
 
 
 &nbsp;to manage the&nbsp;
 
 
 day-to-day commercial operation of voyage charter vessels
 
 
 . You will ensure each voyage is executed safely, efficiently, and profitably &mdash; from bunker planning to PDA negotiation and P&amp;L tracking.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Daily commercial operation of voyage charter vessels
 
 &nbsp;from pre-load to completion, working closely with chartering, clients, and shipowners.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Maintain and update voyage P&amp;L
 
 &nbsp;in&nbsp;
 
 IMOS
 
 , ensuring accurate cost/revenue capture and early visibility of variances.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Plan, order, and follow up on bunkers
 
 &nbsp;(grades, quantities, timing), coordinating with suppliers and monitoring consumption/ROB.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Communicate proactively with clients, shipowners, masters, and port agents
 
 &nbsp;to ensure smooth port calls and cargo operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Negotiate PDAs
 
 &nbsp;with agents; review FDA and final DA to ensure correctness and cost discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Issue clear and timely&nbsp;
 
 voyage instructions
 
 &nbsp;per charter party terms and company standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Monitor vessel schedules, performance, weather delays, congestion, and off-hire risks
 
 ; escalate issues and propose solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate operational records in&nbsp;
 
 IMOS
 
 &nbsp;for voyage history, bunkers, port data, and claims-relevant information.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Monitoring vessel performance on daily bss.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Laytime and detention calculation and negotiations with clients.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Experience:
 
 &nbsp;Preferably&nbsp;
 
 2&ndash;4+ years
 
 &nbsp;in&nbsp;
 
 vessel operations / post-fixture
 
 &nbsp;(dry bulk, MPP, or related).
 </li>
 <li>
 
 IMOS:
 
 &nbsp;
 
 Hands-on, practical experience with IMOS is required
 
 &nbsp;(no substitutes or similar systems).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of voyage economics and how operational decisions impact profit and loss.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent English communication skills; confident in dealing with masters, owners, agents, and charterers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable with&nbsp;
 
 PDA negotiations
 
 , bunker inquiries, and cost-control decision-making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple voyages under time pressure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Based in&nbsp;
 
 Istanbul
 
 &nbsp;or willing to relocate (valid work authorization required).
 </li>
