Bartenders are the face of the bar, creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing polished, professional service to Guests seated at the bar and in the dining room.
Our bar is a focal point of the restaurant. Cleanliness, setup, and presentation are key to keeping it inviting and reflecting the premium service we provide. Bartenders are responsible for making high-quality cocktails, maintaining smooth service, and supporting the dining room when needed.
30hop is a Midwest-based, full-service American bar and kitchen with multi-million dollar locations. Established in Iowa, we&rsquo;ve steadily expanded into multiple states. <div>Starting Pay for fully trained Bartenders: $4.35/hour + tips (averaging $18&ndash;$25/hour with tips, paid out nightly)</div>
<div>Schedule: Full-time. Shifts are anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on your availability. Emphasis on weekend availability.</div>
<div>Full-time Benefits: Available for all full-time employees who work on average 35 hours per week or more.</div><ul><li>

<div>Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Acknowledge bar Guests within 30 seconds of their arrival, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere.</li><li>
Serve all bar Guests according to the Beverage Menu, showcasing expert knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and other offerings.</li><li>
Accurately and promptly fill cocktail orders for the dining room, ensuring all servers receive their drinks in a timely manner.</li><li>
Follow the Steps of Service meticulously to provide each Guest with consistent, high-quality service.</li><li>
Anticipate Guest needs and provide proactive, seamless service throughout their visit.</li><li>
Engage with Guests to create memorable experiences that reflect 30hop's polished yet energetic atmosphere.</li><li>
Maintain the bar as a central feature of the restaurant, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.</li><li>
Complete opening, running, and closing sidework to ensure the bar area is always ready for service and up to 30hop standards.</li><li>
Process and deliver beverage orders accurately, even when working with servers to fulfill dining room requests.</li><li>
Present and process Guest checks efficiently, ensuring accurate payments and offering friendly, professional farewells.</li><li>
Ensure cleanliness of all bar tools, glassware, and equipment, adhering to health and safety standards.</li><li>
Other duities as assigned</li></ul>
<div>Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
Must be 21 years of age or older.</li><li>
Prior experience as a bartender is preferred.</li><li>
Extensive knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, with a passion for mixology.</li><li>
Exceptional communication and multitasking skills.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.</li><li>
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.</li><li>
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul>
