As a contractor, you&rsquo;ll enjoy the freedom to set your schedule while making a meaningful impact on patient care and healthcare operations.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely load, unload, and transport medical items using box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmissions.</li><li>Drive route schedules efficiently to ensure prompt delivery and pickup of medical specimens and supplies.</li><li>Load and secure shipments properly using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.</li><li>Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with healthcare facilities, clinics, and laboratories.</li><li>Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries to ensure safety for yourself and others.</li><li>Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure reliable operation.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably in a healthcare or warehouse setting.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) or &lt;PERSON&gt; driver certification is a plus.</li><li>Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.</li><li>Ability to lift heavy loads safely, including moving equipment or medical supplies weighing up to 50 pounds or more.</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.</li><li>Reliable transportation with flexibility to work variable schedules based on delivery routes.
