Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport medical items using box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Drive route schedules efficiently to ensure prompt delivery and pickup of medical specimens and supplies.
• Load and secure shipments properly using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with healthcare facilities, clinics, and laboratories.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries to ensure safety for yourself and others.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably in a healthcare or warehouse setting.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) or <PERSON> driver certification is a plus.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely, including moving equipment or medical supplies weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $500.00 per day
