Must be able to think outside the box and stay prepared to efficiently and effectively solve problems.Responsibilities<ul><li>Coordinate and dispatch freight loads and deliveries</li><li>Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and adjust plans as needed for efficiency.</li><li>Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear messaging.</li><li>Enter data accurately into electronic dispatching systems to record shipment details, delivery statuses, and fleet information.</li><li>Utilize analysis skills to review logistics data, identify bottlenecks or delays, and implement solutions for continuous improvement.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in dispatching within the transportation or logistics industry; familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus.</li><li>Strong knowledge of transportation planning, supply chain processes, and freight management principles.</li><li>Proficiency with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently using multi-line phone systems.</li><li>Demonstrated analysis skills for reviewing logistics data and making informed decisions.</li><li>Familiarity with GPS, GIS technology, shipping &amp; receiving procedures, fleet management practices, and data entry protocols.</li><li>This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in transportation logistics while contributing to a high-performing team dedicated to excellence in freight movement.</li></ul>Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
