Job Summary 4 Pawz Forward is looking for a compassionate, dependable animal lover to join our team as a Dog Walker &amp; Pet Sitter. The ideal candidate is someone who understands canine body language, has experience working with a variety of dogs, and is committed to providing safe, personalized care. You&rsquo;ll be responsible for giving dogs the exercise, structure, and companionship they need while keeping their safety and emotional well-being a top priority.Responsibilities<ul><li>Walk dogs of various sizes and energy levels in all weather conditions</li><li>Safely manage individual or small group walks with calm, consistent handling</li><li>Reinforce basic training and polite leash manners during walks</li><li>Monitor the health and behavior of pets and report concerns promptly</li><li>Maintain open, respectful communication with pet parents</li><li>Provide pet sitting services including feeding, potty breaks, and companionship</li><li>Occasionally assist with larger or mobility-challenged dogs</li><li>Ensure all gear (leashes, collars, harnesses) is safe and properly fitted</li></ul>Preferred ExperienceApplicants with any of the following will stand out:<ul><li>Dog training knowledge or hands-on experience using positive reinforcement</li><li>Pet care experience (grooming, walking, sitting, daycare, etc.)</li><li>Animal handling skills (vet tech/assistant, shelter work, or similar roles)</li><li>Comfort with dogs who may be shy, excited, or reactive</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Experience with other animals (cats, horses, small pets) is a plus</li></ul>About the Job<ul><li>Part-time, flexible hours</li><li>Most work takes place at clients&rsquo; homes (locations vary)</li><li>Pay ranges from $15&ndash;$106 per job, depending on service type</li><li>Perfect for students, retirees, or anyone seeking extra income and meaningful work</li></ul>Ready to Join the Pack?Apply now with a short note about your experience, availability, and why you&rsquo;d love to work with dogs.
