 Overview
 
 
 
 As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the
 
 Beauty category
 
 within our fashion e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective buying strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, analyzing market trends, and ensuring the timely availability of high-quality products at competitive prices.
 
 
 This role requires a
 
 strategic thinker
 
 with a deep understanding of the retail &amp; beauty industry, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver sales, margin, and growth targets.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 1. Buying &amp; Procurement

 Develop and implement
 
 category-specific buying strategies
 
 to achieve sales, margin, and profitability targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Source, select, and purchase products aligned with the company&rsquo;s brand vision and customer preferences.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and exclusivity with suppliers to secure competitive cost structures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee the
 
 end-to-end procurement process
 
 including purchase orders, shipment tracking, delivery coordination, and vendor compliance.
 </li>

 2. Product &amp; Vendor Management
 
 
 <ul>

 Build and maintain strong relationships with
 
 existing suppliers
 
 while identifying new vendors to enrich the product portfolio.
 </li>
 <li>
 Secure exclusive launches, collaborations, and promotional opportunities with leading and niche beauty brands.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor supplier performance to ensure consistent
 
 quality, compliance, and on-time delivery
 
 .

 3. Market Analysis &amp; Trends
 
 
 <ul>

 Conduct continuous
 
 market research
 
 to stay updated on global and GCC beauty trends (skincare, makeup, fragrance, wellness).
 </li>
 <li>
 Category and region analysis to identify category gaps and opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Use data and insights to guide assortment expansion, pricing strategies, and seasonal initiatives.
 </li>

 4. Inventory &amp; Financial Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain optimal
 
 inventory health
 
 to balance sell-through, avoid overstocks, and reduce markdown exposure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review sales performance regularly and adjust buying strategies to maximize
 
 turnover and profitability

 Collaborate with finance on budget planning, margin tracking, and cost-saving initiatives.
 </li>

 5. Collaboration &amp; Team Leadership

 merchandising, marketing, content, and supply chain teams
 
 to ensure successful product launches and campaigns.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead, coach, and mentor junior buyers or assistants to develop category expertise and support succession planning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent the Beauty category in cross-functional meetings, aligning with wider business goals.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in
 
 Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or related field
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 
 4&ndash;6 years&rsquo; experience
 
 in Buying, with at least
 
 2 years specializing in Beauty
 
 (skincare, makeup, fragrance, wellness).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven background in
 
 e-commerce or omnichannel retail
 
 within GCC or MENA markets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong
 
 analytical skills
 
 with ability to interpret sales, trend, and customer data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent
 
 negotiation and contract management
 
 skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with
 
 inventory planning tools
 
 and reporting dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
 </li>
