About the Role 816 Logistics in Nottinghamshire are looking at rapid growth projections, providing long-term careers for drivers. We are looking for Drivers who are energetic, personable and safe. We provide the truck, but you should have a clean driving record and driving licence. Drivers will generally work from Sutton in Ashfield and Chesterfield. Weekend hours are a necessary, especially around holidays and bank holidays. Shift Patterns <ul><li>Average shift length 10 - 12 hours</li><li>Night shifts</li><li>Full time / Part time</li><li>Most start times are 9pm onwards</li></ul> HGV Driver Benefits <ul><li>Driver is not required to assist with any unloading/loading.</li><li>Driving only from fulfillment centre to fulfillment centre</li><li>Traction work only- drop/swap trailers, working with boxed trailers only</li><li>Paid for full shift regardless</li><li>Flexible Working hours</li><li>28 days paid holidays</li><li>Company pension</li><li>On-site Parking</li><li>Over time available each week</li><li>We have access to the latest truck technology both on safety and sustainability.</li><li>There is a great culture of inclusivity and support for diversity</li></ul> HGV Driver Requirements <ul><li>Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C / C+E</li><li>Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)</li><li>Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card</li><li>Pass a background check (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law</li><li>Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law</li><li>Be able to speak & read English satisfactorily</li><li>Have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver's License (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)</li><li>Approved drivers consist of drivers with BGC results as "Meets Requirements" and drug and alcohol tests with negative results.</li></ul> HGV Driver Responsibilities <ul><li>Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to warehouse on time</li><li>Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner</li><li>Work nights and weekends</li><li>Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues</li><li>Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow</li><li>Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries</li><li>There is no loading /unloading or cargo securing requirements for them (the fulfilment centre team will take care of those)</li><li>We have access to the latest truck technology both on safety and sustainability.</li><li>There is a great culture of inclusivity and support for diversity</li></ul> Driving, Driver, Truck Driver, HGV Class 1, HGV Driver Location: Watnall Road, Nottingham, England NG15 6EN Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: £39,000.00 per year Benefits: <ul><li>Company pension</li><li>Free parking</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul> Schedule: <ul><li>10 hour shift</li><li>12 hour shift</li><li>Every weekend</li><li>Holidays</li><li>Night shift</li><li>Overtime</li><li>Weekend availability</li><li>Weekends only</li></ul> Application question(s): <ul><li>Job is for nights and weekends.
