About the Role: This role is designed for season HVAC service professionals. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will independently handle residential maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting while delivering a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repair of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify the root cause of malfunctions and recommend effective solutions. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential problems before they escalate. Install, repair, or replace components, such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork. Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules, prioritize service calls, and efficiently complete assignments. Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, explaining repair options, and providing recommendations for system improvements. Accurately document service activities, including equipment status, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid HVAC technician license/certification. Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems. Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. About the Role: As an HVAC Maintenance Technician at A/C &amp; Plumbing Doctors, you'll focus on preventative maintenance for residential HVAC systems to keep them operating efficiently and reliably. This role is ideal for technicians who are confident performing maintenance independently, identifying early-stage issues, and communicating recommendations clearly to homeowners. Replace components such as filters, belts, and other parts as needed, and provide recommendations to improve system performance and energy efficiency. Communicate effectively with customers, explaining maintenance findings and offering recommendations in a clear, professional manner. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of maintenance schedules and service calls. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including services performed, parts used, and recommendations for further action. Stay up-to-date on HVAC maintenance best practices and industry advancements to continuously improve technical skills. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Maintenance Technician. Valid HVAC technician license/certification. Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and their maintenance needs. Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
