HVAC Maintenance Technician

About the Role: As an HVAC Maintenance Technician at A/C & Plumbing Doctors, you'll focus on preventative maintenance for residential HVAC systems to keep them operating efficiently and reliably. Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems, including cleaning, adjusting, and inspecting heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
Identify and troubleshoot minor system issues, recommending repairs or replacements as needed to prevent future malfunctions.
Conduct comprehensive system inspections, checking for wear, damage, or potential problems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Replace components such as filters, belts, and other parts as needed, and provide recommendations to improve system performance and energy efficiency.
Communicate effectively with customers, explaining maintenance findings and offering recommendations in a clear, professional manner.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of maintenance schedules and service calls.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including services performed, parts used, and recommendations for further action.
Stay up-to-date on HVAC maintenance best practices and industry advancements to continuously improve technical skills.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Maintenance Technician.
Valid HVAC technician license/certification.
Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and their maintenance needs.
Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
