Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver and be a vital link in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals with medical needs. In this energetic role, you will operate paratransit vans&mdash;to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. Your positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and dedication to customer service will ensure each passenger feels comfortable and cared for throughout their journey. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while honing your driving expertise across multiple vehicle types.Duties<ul><li>Safely operate paratransit vans, or other commercial vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments and destinations.</li><li>Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs.</li><li>Ensure all vehicles are maintained properly by conducting routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.</li><li>Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations diligently to guarantee passenger safety at all times.</li><li>Communicate clearly with clients to confirm pick-up and drop-off details, providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.</li><li>Manage vehicle documentation such as logs, mileage records, and maintenance reports accurately.</li><li>Handle light lifting tasks when assisting passengers or loading/unloading mobility aids or luggage.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior shuttle driving or delivery driver experience is highly preferred; experience operating buses, limousines, or paratransit vehicles is a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated ability in commercial driving with a valid driver&rsquo;s license appropriate for the vehicle type&mdash;such as &lt;PERSON&gt; driver license or equivalent.</li><li>Familiarity with bus driving, heavy lifting, and vehicle maintenance practices enhances your effectiveness in this role.</li><li>Strong communication skills are essential for interacting professionally with clients and team members.</li><li>Experience in customer service roles that require patience, empathy, and clear communication is highly valued.</li><li>Knowledge of safety procedures related to transportation services ensures compliance with all regulations.</li><li>Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks helps maintain fleet reliability.
