This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, sales, and retail math within a lively environment.Duties<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Toast POS system.</li><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages.</li><li>Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change with precision using POS systems.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area, including food preparation zones and seating areas.</li><li>Manage food handling responsibilities, including basic food prep and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items to ensure smooth operations.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred., but not necessary.</li><li>Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS or Square POS is a plus.</li><li>Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor.</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks related to food service and cleaning.
