Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Toast POS system.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages.
• Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change with precision using POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area, including food preparation zones and seating areas.
• Manage food handling responsibilities, including basic food prep and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred., but not necessary.
• Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS or Square POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
