Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional café experience that keeps our patrons coming back.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including the coffee station, dining area, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell products based on their preferences.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while maintaining quality service.
• Stay knowledgeable about coffee varieties, brewing methods, and café offerings to provide informed recommendations.

Experience

• Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred
• Familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management is beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
• Advanced time management experience

Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma/GED preferred
Flexible schedule, particularly for weekend/ Morning and evening shifts
1 years customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
Ability to work 6-8 hours on your feet at a time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
