&lt;Job Summary&gt; We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our finance team and oversee all aspects of financial operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence key financial decisions while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.&lt;Responsibilities&gt;<ul><li>Manage and oversee the full spectrum of corporate accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.</li><li>Lead the preparation of monthly, and annual financial statements, reports, and disclosures with precision and clarity.</li><li>Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.</li><li>Oversee internal controls related to financial reporting processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>Mentor and develop accounting staff by providing training on technical accounting issues.</li><li>Collaborate with external auditors during audits, ensuring all documentation is complete and audit findings are addressed promptly.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial modeling to inform strategic decision-making.</li><li>Utilize advanced accounting software like Excel, Word, or similar platforms for efficient data management and reporting.</li><li>Report monthly, quarterly and annual fuel and sales tax, licensing, fuel taxes, permits, and heavy vehicles.</li></ul>&lt;Skills&gt;<ul><li>Proficiency with various accounting software systems, or equivalent tools for bookkeeping and financial management.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping.</li><li>Ability to interpret complex financial reports and communicate insights clearly through written analysis.</li><li>Skilled in financial analysis techniques including cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.</li><li>Experience mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy standards.</li><li>Strong understanding of tax regulations related to payroll and other financial services areas.
