Accounting Manager

<Job Summary>
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our finance team and oversee all aspects of financial operations. <Responsibilities>

• Manage and oversee the full spectrum of corporate accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, and annual financial statements, reports, and disclosures with precision and clarity.
• Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee internal controls related to financial reporting processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff by providing training on technical accounting issues.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits, ensuring all documentation is complete and audit findings are addressed promptly.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial modeling to inform strategic decision-making.
• Utilize advanced accounting software like Excel, Word, or similar platforms for efficient data management and reporting.
• Report monthly, quarterly and annual fuel and sales tax, licensing, fuel taxes, permits, and heavy vehicles.

<Skills>

• Proficiency with various accounting software systems, or equivalent tools for bookkeeping and financial management.
• Demonstrated experience in financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Ability to interpret complex financial reports and communicate insights clearly through written analysis.
• Skilled in financial analysis techniques including cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy standards.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
