A.M. Transport (Liverpool) Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a national supermarket client. The role involves transporting ambient and chilled goods to retail outlets. The role is based on a four on, four off nightly shift pattern.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Completing nightly vehicle safety inspections.</li><li>Ensuring safe loading/unloading and securing of goods.</li><li>Delivering goods to customer sites safely and efficiently.</li><li>Maintaining accurate transport paperwork.</li><li>Driving safely and responsibly and adhering to Driver' hours and tachograph legislation.</li><li>Professionally representing our client's brand whilst on UK roads.</li><li>Working collaboratively with colleagues.</li><li>Supporting our client's distribution centre by moving trailers and keeping vehicles fuelled.</li></ul>You will need:<ul><li>Good Knowledge of the UK road network.</li><li>Experience in delivery of palletised products.</li><li>Experience in self-loading/unloading palletised products.</li><li>Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.</li><li>Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.</li><li>Minimum 12 months of experience driving Class 1 vehicles.</li><li>Able to adhere to the WTD Drivers Hours.</li><li>Excellent customer service &amp; communication skills.</li><li>Friendly, approachable and reliable.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary with overtime opportunities.</li><li>Modern well-maintained fleet.</li><li>Company Pension Scheme.</li><li>Company Uniform.</li><li>Free on-site parking.</li></ul>PAYE applicants only, please note we cannot accept Ltd company drivers.On the occasions where we have high volumes of applicants, some roles may close earlier than the advertised end date in order for us to manage all of the applicants appropriately.
