Full Time HGV Class 1 Night Driver (Store Deliveries)

A.M. Transport (Liverpool) Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a national supermarket client. The role involves transporting ambient and chilled goods to retail outlets. The role is based on a four on, four off nightly shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing nightly vehicle safety inspections.
• Ensuring safe loading/unloading and securing of goods.
• Delivering goods to customer sites safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate transport paperwork.
• Driving safely and responsibly and adhering to Driver' hours and tachograph legislation.
• Professionally representing our client's brand whilst on UK roads.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues.
• Supporting our client's distribution centre by moving trailers and keeping vehicles fuelled.

You will need:

• Good Knowledge of the UK road network.
• Experience in delivery of palletised products.
• Experience in self-loading/unloading palletised products.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months of experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• Able to adhere to the WTD Drivers Hours.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable and reliable.
